On a wonderfully balmy evening at the world-renowned Aardman Animations studios in Bristol, all the decorated Gromit, Wallace and Feathers McGraw sculptures were gathered together for a preview event before they scarper off to their locations all over Bristol for the start of The Grand Appeal’s @Gromitunleashed2 art trail on Monday 2nd July.

Olly Evans of Evans & Partners Chartered Accountants in Bristol had the great privilege of meeting up with our artist, Bev Cavender of TheKnittedPea, along with her wonderful dragon-inspired Gromit sculpture.

He’s a friendly dragon though! Bev was very keen that he would be fun and appealing to the younger family members on the trail, so he comes along with a big beaming smile, just at toddler height!

Evans & Partners are delighted to be sponsoring a Gromit sculpture as part of our 75th anniversary celebrations, and supporting the wonderful charity, The Grand Appeal, helping raise vital money for Bristol Children’s hospital.

‘We are a Bristol firm through and through’ says Olly Evans, the 3rd generation of the Evans family to run Evans & Partners, ‘so it made great sense to be involved with this year’s Bristol trail.

‘We feel very lucky to have such a world class institution as Bristol Children’s Hospital on our doorstep, so it is a real pleasure to be able to support the work they do through The Grand Appeal’

The Evans & Partners Gromit will be in Kings Chase Shopping Centre in Kingswood, Bristol from Monday 2nd July, 2018.  Come and see his shimmering scales!
