He was educated at Bristol Grammar School and was a student with Grace Derbyshire & Todd and Thompson Mclintock before joining his father's practice in 1970. 

Personal:

Martin is a member and past President of Kingswood Rotary and spends most of his spare time with one of his 4 children and 12 grandchildren.  Martin is married to Suzanne and recently they celebrated their Ruby Wedding.
